Let's Talk About Mental Health

Mental health is a big one - especially in unpredictable fields of work like the arts and music. While we do find a welcome distraction from our routines and a strong sense of community by celebrating together, it is important to be responsible.

We need a culture of kindness and keeping an eye out for each other naturally. It is always better to ask one too many times if someone is okay rather than not asking at all when needed. We all benefit from acting according to healthy and sustainable values such as empathy, consideration, authenticity, warmth and curiosity.

Interview with Faze Magazine

I feel very fortunate to have gotten featured in the September 2023 edition of Faze Magazine speaking about my exprience with Mental Health and why it is important in today's music industry. I appreciate Faze Mag for using their reach as a channel for awareness about an issue that touches the very fundamentals of everyone's being. It is so crucial to a functioning artist and music scene.

MODERN MASCULINITY with Bumble

In 2022 and 2023 I was working together with the Dating App Bumble Germany on a series of Instagram Reels addressing the topic of Modern Masculinity. This is about how we as men can make a difference - especially in a male dominated industry like music - by living to beliefs that are healthy and sustainable for our surroundings and ourselves.

WORKSHOPS at
BUCHT DER TRäumer Festival

Fast forward half a year, the magical Bucht der Träumer Festival invited me to be a speaker on Mental Health and Modern Masculinity in their 2023 edition. First, I wasn't sure whether to accept because I had never done anything like this and it would be a step out of my usual comfort zone. But then again, this is exactly one of the points I am trying to make: The only way to get rid of these insecurities is by just doing things and not expecting a flawless result! Now, looking back I couldn't be happier with the result: We sparked an interesting and respectful discussion which in the field of gender issues where so many triggers and personal experiences come into play is not easy to do. Thank you to everyone who came along and supported us!
